Angela Kuan Huan Lin is a Taiwanese artist based in Sweden whose work explores emotion, identity, and the inner landscape of human experience.

Growing up in Taiwan, she was deeply influenced by the stark contrast between dense urban environments and the quiet rhythms of nature—opposing forces that continue to shape her artistic language today. This foundation is further enriched by her life in Sweden, bridging the cultural depth of East Asia with Scandinavian minimalist precision and spatial tranquility.

Working primarily with expressive line, abstract forms, and minimalist compositions, Angela creates portraits and symbolic figures that reflect the complexity of human emotion. Drawing inspiration from modern abstract traditions and artists like Pablo Picasso, her practice navigates the space between structure and spontaneity, exploring the delicate tension between control and intuition.
